Chevron sells former New Orleans headquarters

Chevron Corp. has sold its former headquarters building in New Orleans, a structure once eyed by the Nagin administration as a possible site for City Hall, to Kingfish Development LLC for $6 million.

Kingfish will rename the 21-story office tower the City Centre and will turn it into a hub for technology-based companies. In addition to the office tower, Kingfish bought a seven-story parking garage and an adjacent two-level annex.
