To begin this article on how to get married in New Orleans, I offer this true account of a special wedding in which I was fortunate to participate as a photographer. In early October 2005, a little over a month after Hurricane Katrina blasted New Orleans and surrounding areas, I was asked by New Orleans Ministers Don and Samantha Bohn to photograph the first wedding in the French Quarter since the devastation of the city.
