Residents across the metro New Orleans area will gather at block parties tonight to mark the 26th annual National Night Out Against Crime.
From Chalmette to Metairie and New Orleans and Abita Springs, neighborhood celebrations are planned for residents to team up with each other and law enforcement authorities to make their communities safer. The annual event is designed to heighten crime awareness and strenghthen neighborhood bonds.
