OCTOBER 13TH, 2009, NEW ORLEANS -- FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL EHUD OLMERT TO SPEAK AT TULANE UNIVERSITY

Ehud Olmert, the former prime minister of Israel, will be speaking at Tulane University this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Matt Simmons, the VP for Direction for Tulane University Campus Programming (TUCP) said that TUCP decided to bring Olmert to campus because “he is an excellent speaker...he has a first-hand experience in dealing with the problems we hear about in the news on a day-to-day basis and has truly impacted history.” Mr. Olmert will be discussing current events in Israel and the Middle East region and will also answer questions from the audience. The event will be held in McAlister Auditorium and is free and open to students with a valid college ID. Any non-college students or media who wish to attend must contact Matt Simmons prior to the event.
