SOLAR HOT WATER  Saturday, December 5th 10am-12pm $5, or free for members   MORE: In this workshop, discover how to get FREE HOT WATER from the sun!  Come learn basic, do it yourself techniques, and see if solar will work for you.   BUILD YOUR OWN SOLAR "BATCH" HEATER  Saturday, December 12th 10am-12pm $5, or free for members    MORE: Create your own device to preheat the water supplying your water heater, for either residential or commercial projects.  It is simple, and as easy as a hose and tank in the yard.   *Please note: While you are not required to attend the first workshop to participate in the second one, it is recommended, as the second, hands on event does build on knowledge gained from the first one.  They are presented by Solar Consultant Dan Nelson, who will be able to assist with your personal solar quandaries.   PLANT SWAP!  Saturday, December 19  10am - 2pm FREE!   MORE: Bring in plants you no longer want or need, and trade them for new ones.  A plant for a plant, a seed for a seed.  If you've been dreaming of a green Christmas, wake up early and come by!
