Beating out top musically-inclined cities such as Nashville, Austin, New York and Chicago, New Orleans was voted the best city in America for Live Music, Concerts and Bands by the readers of Travel and Leisure Magazine.
The magazine surveyed readers on a variety of characteristics of 30 of the United States’ major cities to see where each city fell in their 2009 America’s Favorite Citiespoll. Categories ranged from best Hotels, People, Food/Dining, Culture among others.
