The annual Louisiana Bicycle Festival in Abita Springs is a haven for alternative bikes and cycling enthusiasts. Riders bring antique and custom bikes, including oddly reconfigured bikes that need to be mounted with ladders, motorized bikes and Dr. Seuss-like contraptions, and some bikers don costumes and ride in style.
