HandsOn New Orleans, the Kingswood Neighboorhood Association and KaBOOM! are teaming up this weekend to build a KaBOOM! playground at the Kingswood Playground located in the Cul De Sac of Edgefield Drive in Eastern New Orleans. We are seeking 20 team leads to assist with leading volunteers and 200 volunteers to assist in creating a great place to play for the families and children of the Kingswood Neighborhood. You don't have to be skilled, trained or have any special tools – you just have to be enthusiastic, energetic, and ready to have fun!!!
Here are the details:
When: July 15, 16 (Prep for Build Day), 8 am to 2pm
July 17th (Build Day!), 8 am to 2 pm
Where: 7181 Edgefield Drive, New Orleans, LA, 70128
Why: Because all children need a safe and fun place to play!
***Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all on the day of the build!
