Amanda Shaw’s 4th Album Hits Stands With PJ's Celebration

One of my favorite Louisiana artists is at it again with a new release.  Our favorite Fiddler, Amanda Shaw’s Good Southern Girl, fourth album hits stores today! To help kick off the celebration, Shaw will perform today live at PJ’s Coffee on Canal Street. Amanda Shaw describes her album as “a tribute to what I value most. Good music, good food, good life. My music pulls from all New Orleans genres; I consider my sounds to be roots meets rock n’ roll.” If you haven’t checked her out, you definitely need to get to know her refreshing high energy music.

In collaboration, PJ’s Coffee Company and Amanda Shaw’s label, Poorman Mayfield Music Group will now offer the music of Poorman Mayfield artists and are set to feature live in store appearances and performance. This will be an excellent addition to the popular coffee shop; live music and a chance to grab a cd over a cup of coffee.

Poorman Mayfield Music Group is a record label founded by Attorney Kevin Poorman and Grammy Winning Artist Irvin Mayfield. This label like Good Nola is committed to highlighting New Orleans musicians and introducing them to nation. Poorman Mayfield is working to help awareness on the cultural importance of New Orleans Music.

The release of Amanda’s album marks a major milestone for Poorman Mayfield and for the music industry as a whole says, Mayfield. “The world hasn’t seen a fiddler like Amanda before , her talent knows no bounds.”
