Pelicanpalooza Southport Hall, 200 Monticello Ave., Jefferson. The concert benefits Camp Pelican, the camp for children with pulmonary disorders, with raffles, a silent auction and live music, noon. LITERARY EVENTS
The National WWII Museum 945 Magazine St. "Heat of Battle, " the annual WWII Wargaming Conference, takes place, 9 a.m.-4. Designers build accurate terrain for battle re-enactments with miniatures.
