It’s 7:45 a.m. on a Thursday, and theTooth Bus is bustling. Within the narrow confines of the cabin, the drone of the generator plays metronome to the industrious pace of early-morning preparations.
Patients will begin arriving in a few minutes, and men and women in scrubs huddle around three small dentist’s chairs, laying out an array of probes, pliers, and chisels onto plastic trays.
