Goldman Sachs will be bringing some of its money to New Orleans, according to a statement on Tuesday by Mayor Landrieu. The Mayor announced a partnership between the investment bank, the Urban League of New Orleans, Hope Enterprise Corpo ration and Delgado Community College around an initiative called "10,000 Small Businesses." At the press conference, some examples of local businesses that could benefit from the program were a barber shop and a pharmacist. The initiative will include access to loan capital for business development as well as education.
