Drummer Stanton Moore is a founding member of the funk band Galactic, works with avant-funk group Garage a Trois, has backed soul queen Irma Thomas, occasionally makes heavy music with Corrosion of Conformity and Street Sweeper Social Club and fronts his Stanton Moore Trio, which appeals to jazz, funk and jam-band fans.
