FIFTH ANNUAL FRENCH QUARTER WINE FESTIVAL KICKS OFF MARCH 18

Wine lovers rejoice! The city of 1,000 festivals will once again invite winos from across NOLA to celebrate some of the world’s best wines. Started after Hurricane Katrina and modeled after the prestigious Boston Wine Festival, French Quarter Wine Festival brings some of the world’s best winemakers to the Maison Dupuy Hotel, located in the heart of New Orleans. The Festival will feature an opening and closing reception and 14 dinners and receptions hosted by the winemakers and proprietors. Chef Michael Farrell, Executive Chef of Maison Dupuy’s BISTREAUX and Le Meritage Restaurants, will create delectable dinners to accompany each tasting.

The celebration kicks off with a block party on March 18 featuring 150 labels and performances by Rebirth Brass Band and Los Po-Boy-Citos starting at 7:00PM. A silent auction will be held during the event for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Greater New Orleans.
