The NBC reality-TV weight-loss competition "The Biggest Loser" has scheduled an open New Orleans casting calls for March 20.
Individuals and teams of two who have at least 100 pounds (each) to lose may audition. The New Orleans stop is part of a 15-city series of auditions for the show's 10th season, to air in the fall.
"Casting producers are looking for outgoing and charismatic individuals and teams of two who have the personality, desire and competitive edge to vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lose weight, change their lives forever and compete for a grand prize of $250,000," says the NBC news release announcing the auditions. "Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States."
