1. Tell us a little about Nica Natural and its products

Nica Naturals is a New Orleans based bath, body and home care product company.  The Company was founded with the mission to promote a holistic approach to health and beauty by providing quality hair body and home care products made with natural ingredients tailored to produce results without compromising quality.


Each Nica Naturals product is made from scratch using premium natural butters, herbs, oils, essential oils and fragrance oil. The scents of the products are simply amazing and range from the calming Lavender Mist, a blend of lavender and sweet orange essential oils to the spicy clove type scent of Bay Bay to the bold almond honey scent of Caress Me.

2. How long has your business been around in New Orleans?

Nica Naturals was officially started in 2007.

3. Can we get your products at any local businesses or upcoming events?

The products are always available through the website www.nicanaturals.com. If you are in the New Orleans area, you can arrange to pick up your order which is usually free.


The Breath IS Life Spa located in Mid City also carries some of the products.


I should begin selling at the French Market in New Orleans’ French Quarter in mid to late February. Dates will be posted on the Nica Naturals event calendar.

4. Why do you love new orleans?

New Orleans reminds me of the Caribbean.  The people are warm and there is a lot to do in the city. There is also a great support system for entrepreneurs that include non-profit and federally funded organizations like Goodwork Network, the Urban Leagues’ Women’s Business Resource Center, The Idea Village and MEPOL.

5. what can we expect from your company in new orleans?

Nica Naturals is creating a platform for a new approach to beauty by developing a balanced and holistic approach to health, beauty, wellness and restoration and through natural based products that allow individuals to care for themselves.  An extension of this mission is the Nica Naturals’ motto Natural. Beautiful. You. which drives everything I do. In the end, if every Nica client is encouraged to do one thing better today to take care of themselves, then the mission is being fulfilled. As the Company grows, I hope to be able to pursue more partnership opportunities to mentor young women in the New Orleans community.

6. How can we help? 

There are several things I am working on at the moment:

1.
