New Orleans Society: Cabrini High School celebrates 50 years, NOMA host Fellows Dinner

On a recent Saturday evening, Cabrini High School hailed 50 years of "Standing Among Great Women, " providing an education that nurtures young women to be leaders in their professions, their faith and their communities, along with instilling the values of loving care to their families.
At 6:30 p.m., the Magic on the Bayou gala opened the doors to the Moss Street school, where silent bidding commenced in the auction galleries. Shortly afterward, Midnight Special made merry music, the bars and the buffet serving lines opened, and the Champagne & Gift Raffle showed that where there was a will, there was a wallet. During the balance of the evening, five auction boards, as well as the live auction, lured the legions -- and their largesse.
