Shhhh…Follow me down this dark damp French Quarter alley to the world where bohemian gypsies dance and lively spirits drown themselves in shots generously poured. Inspiration is heard along the Mississippi River-front, while the candlelight dances through the glass holders like a Storyville stripper going down a pole. The cigarette smoke stings your eyes and hides you from the real freaks inside. With visions of mimes on a bad acid trip running through my head, sweet melodic vocals and banging sounds are seductively arising with the “carnie chaos,” all so very inviting. Numbered balls roll in a mesh barrel while the real story of “self” unravels through your mind. Streamers and confetti fall as blown noisemakers shriek to the voice shouting through a megaphone, “Does Anybody Wannah Be a WINNER?
