Urgent Need For Volunteers With Second Harvest

We have an urgent need for volunteer groups beginning July 31st. On the
following dates and times we need approximately 6 volunteers per day to
de-plate food at the Convention Center. This will be leftover food from
a convention which will be donated to local shelters and kitchens. This
is a great opportunity for groups! Volunteers will need to provide their
own transportation and parking and should bring a lunch with them. If
anyone is interested, they can contact me directly.

6 volunteers are needed per afternoon:

7/31 – 1pm

8/1 – 1pm

8/2 – 1pm

8/4 – 1pm

Because of the nature of this project – we are there to save
whatever food is leftover from the daily lunch events – we have no
way of knowing exactly how long this will take. Anywhere from 2 – 4
hours.
