District D Community Meeting on Safe Neighborhoods, Safe Streets

District "D" Councilmember Cynthia Hedge-Morrell will host a joint community meeting from 6 p.m.
- 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010. The topic of discussion will focus on promoting "Safe
Neighborhoods, Safe Streets." There will be remarks from New Orleans Police Department (NOPD)
Superintendent Ronal Serpas, Deputy Superintendents Marlon Defillo and Kirk Bouyelas, Captains
Greg Elder and Bernadine Kelly of the Third and Fifth Districts, their Quality of Life Officers and
Community Coordinators and the Crime Stoppers organization.
